YDMA 2010 was another impressive year with entries from over 1000 students across almost 200 teams and an incredibly high standard of work.

This year the judging panel included industry experts from: Great Ormond St, the National Trust and Oxfam, Jaywing, Rapport, Royal Mail, Jacob Bailey, DMS, GyroHSR, Meteorite and Da Vinci. Congratulations to all winning schools.

Aims: Develop a marketing campaign that will recruit 250 schools to take part in the Schools 1km Challenge and raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. To raise awareness of ‘GET FIT’ and to encourage 250 schools to sign up and use the interactive e-learning resource to get young people interested in exercise.

Brief: Your campaign should promote and encourage sign up to the Schools 1km Challenge to key stage 3 & 4 schools by raising awareness of the benefits of one hour of physical activity each day on overall health and encouraging sign up to the ‘GET FIT’ e-learning resource

Brief: Your campaign should inform your audience of the benefits of taking out a family membership, for instance, membership provides free family days out for a whole year. You may also wish to draw upon the idea that NT members generate vital funds for the charity.

Aims: Develop a direct marketing campaign to recruit 1000 new donors to Oxfam 365, at an average donation of more than £100 per year (more than £8.67 per month).

Brief: Your campaign should raise awareness of the Oxfam 365 programme, and the need for us to be ready to respond immediately in the case of a disaster or emergency. It should also encourage people to set up a direct debit for a regular donation.
